Sophie von Salching is a delightful 3-4 year old German Shepherd mix. She is a smaller-sized (~45lbs), friendly girl who likes to give kisses in exchange for full-body pets and belly rubs. Happy and outgoing, Sophie loves to meet people and pups alike, and she's always up for fun and adventure. She'd love a home with another playful pup and people who are around more. She is also a smartie, she's housebroken, crate-trained and knows her "sit",  "down" and "shake" commands, taking treats gently. She likes being active, loves water and enjoys going on walks or runs and being around other dogs.  She loves our monthly group hikes to Griffith Park and is great on leash.  She learns quickly to walk at your pace and stay by your side. Around kids, she's gentle, kind and patient.  In playgroup, she goes up to every dog with a wagging tail, and happily runs around. While she's sociable with bigger dogs and people -- she's not for small dogs or cats.  Sophie is a precious gem - a special girl with a big heart.
